The return line must be shut down. This can be done either directly at the rear tank connection or alternatively in the engine compartment by professionally sealing the rubber line with a suitable plug.
The carburetor is basically suitable for use in the Fiat 124 Spider. However, adjustments to the carburetor itself, the air filter and the throttle linkage are required.
It is an original Weber carburetor, but not an exact replica of the Weber carburetors originally used by Fiat. For this reason, the modifications mentioned are necessary.
For a screwdriver with some experience, installation and adjustment is usually not a major problem.
