⚠️ Important Note for the Fiat 124 Spider (1979–1985)
The 3-point automatic seat belts we supply are the manufacturer’s current model and come with an additional bracket for vehicles with B-pillar or headrest mounting.
This bracket is not required for the Fiat 124 Spider and will not be used during installation. This is not a shipping error; it is part of the manufacturer’s standard package.
If you want to remove the additional bracket for aesthetic or practical reasons, you can carefully cut it off with a hand saw or an angle grinder. When doing so, be sure to remove only the additional bracket and not to damage the seat belt or its anchor points.
Upgrade your Fiat 124 Spider or Fiat 124 Coupé with a modern 3-point automatic seat belt to enhance comfort and safety on every drive. The universal automatic seat belt is suitable as a replacement for worn or damaged original seat belts and can be used on both the left and right sides of the vehicle.
The strap features a smooth-operating automatic retractor and has a strap length of approximately 310 cm and a buckle length of approximately 30 cm. The seat belt retractor is mounted behind the rear seat, in accordance with the original installation configuration in the Fiat 124 Spider.
The seat belt is the manufacturer’s current model and comes with mounting hardware. It is available in black, red, and beige and blends harmoniously into the interior of your classic car.
The seat belts currently being shipped come with an additional mounting bracket for various vehicle types, as provided by the manufacturer. This bracket is not required for the Fiat 124 Spider and Fiat 124 Coupé. This is not a shipping error, but rather part of the manufacturer’s standard package. The additional bracket can be carefully removed if necessary.
