After installation, the steering play must be set correctly.
The adjustment is made using the yellow marked screw or nut. The exact design may differ depending on the steering gear version (yellow arrow).
The screw marked in green is used to fill the steering gear with lubricant.
👉 O ur recommendation:
Instead of original oil (usually approx. 215ml 80W90), we recommend the use of grease (approx. 300gr), as in our experience this lubricates the gearbox longer and more evenly. This can reduce wear and increase the service life of the steering gear.
⚠️ Note:
The steering play should be adjusted gradually and then checked to prevent the steering from becoming stiff.
