Our parking brake cable is a tried-and-true standard product that we have been selling for many years in the same length.

However, in some vehicles, the standard threaded rod may be too short. This prevents the parking brake cable from being adjusted properly, since the brake is already engaged when the cable is tensioned. It is not possible to determine definitively why this deviation occurs in individual vehicles, due to differences in vehicle specifications and installation conditions.

For these situations, we have developed an extended threaded rod that can be customized to fit your vehicle.

The threaded rod can be cut to the required length. Next, drill a 3-mm hole in the correct position for your vehicle to attach the hook spring.

The threaded rod can also be used as a replacement for the original threaded rod. To do this, it is cut to its original length of approximately 105 mm, and the required mounting hole is drilled accordingly.

Please note: Depending on the required length, the hook spring must also be adjusted accordingly.
