Discover the authentic driving experience with our high-quality instrument panel set 64-68 body shell, specially developed for the Porsche 911 / 912 models from 1964-1968.
Our dashboard consists of a front section and a characteristic top section, both made from high-quality materials.
The front section of the instrument panel set 64-68 body shell was developed and manufactured in Germany from PU compact foam to ensure maximum stability and durability.
The top panel features a 5-mm-thick wooden surface and distinctive speaker cutouts.
Our product comes with all the mounting clips needed for the top section to ensure easy installation.
The instrument panel comes with threaded bolts specially developed by Spider-Point to prevent them from tearing out of the dashboard.
The blanks in our instrument panel set 64-68 blanks offer you the opportunity to design your instrument panel entirely according to your individual preferences.
You can have the dashboard upholstered in high-quality leather or imitation leather to give your Porsche a personal touch.

Our instrument panel was developed using several original used parts. Even when measuring these original parts, we found dimensional deviations of up to 13 mm in width.
In developing our tool, we based our design on the shortest of the original parts we measured. Due to manufacturing tolerances, there may be a small gap between the instrument panel and the A-pillar on your vehicle—a gap that may not have been present on your previous original part.
A gap may form between the instrument panel and the upper wood trim after installation. Depending on the orientation and installation, this can be reduced and made as uniform as possible. Nevertheless, the body behind it may still be visible through the gap.
After consulting with Porsche service centers and experienced upholsterers, it has become clear that this issue is well known during the installation or reupholstering of these components.
We recommend two possible solutions:
1. Leather or faux leather with an overhang
When covering the instrument panel, the leather or synthetic leather is left about 3–4 cm longer at the back. During installation, this overhang is tucked under the upper wooden cover, thereby concealing the gap and the body panel behind it.
2. Leather piping on the upper wooden cover
A slightly more elaborate, visually very clean solution is to incorporate a leather piping along the edge of the upper wooden cover that faces the instrument panel. The trim then covers the resulting gap.
Be sure to install the unupholstered parts in the vehicle on a trial basis before the upholstery work is performed. This allows the actual clearance dimensions to be determined for each vehicle and taken into account when ordering.
